He is survived by: his spouse Adrah Jane Barnes; his children, David Slear (Julie), Stephanie Riddle (Mark), Eric Slear (Andrea King) and Meredith Towle (William); his grandchildren, Alexandra, David, Matthew Slear, Hana, Maddison Riddle, Jessica Slear, Porter Towle, Janine Curran (Joe) and Russell Wilson (Lin); and his pet Liddy.
