He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hinton and Sara Seasholtz Hinton; his daughter Betsy Hinton Koehler; his parents-in-law, George and Elinor Herr; his brothers-in-law, Bill Garbrick and David Herr; and his nephew Matthew Hinton.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Herr; his daughter Deana Hinton Hill (Todd Myers); his grandson Ryan Hill; his son-in-law Donald Koehler; his brothers, Leonard Hinton (Kathy), Kenneth Hinton (Linda) and Kurt Hinton (Tina); his sister-in-law Judy Garbrick; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Judie Herr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Flemington First Church of Christ.
