She was predeceased by: her mother Lottie Hoover Orsin; her husband John W. Heckel, Jr.; and her siblings, Vida Spotts, Leah Packer, Chester F. "Tanny" Orsin and Fred Orsin.
She is survived by: her father Chester Francis; and her children, Kathie Slenker (Gerald) of York, John W. Heckel, III (Ellie) of Gardners, Rebecca Weaver (Tom) of Lock Haven and Susan Jones (Frank) of Lock Haven. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Ross Library or St. Agnes Catholic Church through the funeral home.
