She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl and Leah Shaw (Reber); her husband Michael F. Pothering; and her siblings, William Shaw, John Shaw, George Shaw, Lamar Shaw, Helen Shaw, Bertha Frehafer and La Verne Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Michael F. Pothering Jr. (Christine Myers) of Pottsville, Joseph Pothering (Darlene) of Llewellyn and Karen D. Bush (David Stranko) of Schuylkill Haven; her sisters, Dolores Pron of Bethlehem, PA and Emily Mease of Summerfield, FL.; her grandchildren, Melissa Maness Pottsville, David Pothering Minersville, Michael Pothering Pottsville, Scott Bush Schuylkill Haven, Bradley Bush Pottsville and Amanda Laubach Llewellyn; and her great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Drake Bush, Kole, Brooke, Aubree Laubach, Jacob, Owen, Nora Maness, Faye, Bode Pothering, Remington Montag, Lincoln, Dawson and Ace Pothering. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
