It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cyril Rushanan of Llewellyn, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rushanan and Anna Biletz Rushanan; his wife Mary Bertasavage; his siblings, Emil, John Charles, Joseph, George Rushanan, Irene Purcell, Betty Ann Leiss and Mary Elko; and his pet Whitey.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Meza and Devin Rushanan (Deborah); his grandchildren, Jerimiah Hendricks (Rachel), Mary Strausser (Michael), Ben Hendricks (Ashley), Chase and Noah Rushanan; his great grandchildren, Sophia Hendricks Noon, Lydia, Kellen Hendricks, Paige, Molly DeTraglia, Jackson, Eli, Luca, Olive Strausser and Grayson Hendricks; and his siblings, Anna Dunmoyer and Michael Rushanan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family prefers donations to the Special Olympics PA- Team Schuylkill.
