He is survived by: his siblings, Mervin Shaffer (Margaret) and Linda Allen (Don); his children, Debra Ensminger, Diane Rush, Michael Shaffer, Susan Fleming, Lori Fleming and Rick Fleming; his children-in-law, Sally Shaffer, Thomas Ensminger, Ronald Crumlich, Anthony Sulikowski and James Rush; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Peters (Tammy), Lance Shaffer (Talene), Todd Peters (Amanda), Lucas Sulikowski (Shanna), Brad Peters (Virginia), Laura Sulikowski (Bill) and Michael Shaffer.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
