He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald F. Chalk and Lucille C. Chalk (Wrobleski); and his son-in-law Fabian R. Good, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cathie Chalk; his children, Katherine Chalk (Brandi) of Hanover, Becky Ott (Chris) of Gettysburg and Stephen R. Chalk, Jr. of Sandusky, OH; his grandchildren, Bradley Lukens (Derek), Ashley Vogelsong, Bryan Lukens, Brandon Vogelsong, Caitlin Walker and Jaiden Walker; his great grandchildren, Mason Lukens, Nikolai Lukens and Saige Hawbaker; his sisters, Donna Koslowski of St. Louis, MO and Barbara Ford; and his grandchildren, David Chalk of Hanover, Theresa Chalk Eyer of Abbottstown and Michael Chalk of Florida.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (549 Carlisle St, Hanover, PA 17331).
The family suggests that memorial contributions in Stephen's memory be made to the Adams County S.P.C.A., 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
