He is survived by: his son William "Billy" Koons of Waynesboro; his brothers, David C. of Westminster and Larry E. Airing of Taneytown; his aunt Erma Jane Airing of Taneytown; and his uncles, Fred Warner of Union Bridge and Raymond Warner of Littlestown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
