He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hockensmith (DeGroft); his sons, Michael Hockensmith (Taylor), Brad Hockensmith (Brittany) and Brian Hockensmith (Emma Strausner); his mother-in-law Pat DeGroft of Taneytown; and his siblings, David Hockensmith of Westminster, Tim Hockensmith of Taneytown, Lydia Locke of Huntley, IL and Julia Hockensmith of Hanover.
