He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Herr and Frances Herr (Kuhns); and his brother Clair E. Herr. He is survived by: his wife Hilda (Grove); his children, Marcella A. Schlabach (Elijah) of Seney, MI, Laverne R. Herr (Sue) of Madisonville, TN, Merle A. Herr (Amy) of Guys Mills, PA, Diane A. Fuhrman (Doug) of Thomasville, PA, Marilyn S. Miller (Brent) of Watsontown, PA, Arlin D. Herr (Janetta) of Nappanee, IN and Linette J. Horst (Randy) of Hagerstown, MD; and his siblings, Glenn E. Herr of Gettysburg, PA and Arlene Stambaugh of Hanover, PA.. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren.
