He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Phillips and Mary R. Phillips (Feeser); his brother Monroe J. Phillips; and his stepbrother Clair Warner. He is survived by: his sister Janet M. Miller; his brother-in-law Glenn of Littlestown; his nephew Dale J. Miller of Littlestown; his great-niece Sydney Miller; and his great-nephews, Devin and Dempsey Miller.
