He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Mowery and Grace Mowery (Miller); and his siblings, Earl "Bud" Mowery, Donald Mowery and June Leckey.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Kenneth Allen Mowery of New Market, MD, Sandra Harig (Jeff) of Taneytown, MD and Michele Dearstine (John) of Ijamsville, MD; and his grandchildren, Amanda Harig, Kortney Mowery, Johnny Dearstine, Brooke Harig, Joey Mowery, Morgan Mowery and Aubrey Dearstine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
