He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Wantz and Ruth Wantz (Bowers); and his siblings, Catherine Wantz, Viola Wantz, Pauline Utz, Roy and Glen Wantz.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Wantz of Hagerstown, Harold Wantz of Gettysburg, Steven Wantz of Littlestown and Sherri Rittgers of Tulsa, OK; and his siblings, Joseph Wantz of Westminster, Wayne Wantz of Littlestown, Roger Wantz of Mechanicsburg, Alice Fritz of Gettysurg and Nancy Miller of Hanover. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
