He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Wantz and Leuverne Wantz (Bemiller); and his siblings, Carl, Ken, Albert, Earl, Nevin Wantz, Helen Kuhn and Shirley Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Michelle Richardson (Brian), Rylie, Grifin and Tyler; and his sisters-in-law, Louise "Tootie" and Doris Wantz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
