She was predeceased by: her father Robert Smith; her husband Thomas Charles Swartz; her daughter Tammy Groves; her grandson Jimmy Sheridan; and her siblings, Butch Smith, Carol Smith and Charlotte Hubbard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Witt of Blairsville, PA, Patty Stump of Latrobe, PA, Brenda Groves of Cumberland, MD, Holli Swartz of Cumberland, MD and Ruthann Swartz of Cumberland, MD; her sisters, Joan Thompson, Ester Linder, Sheryl Flanagan and Charleen Miller; and her pet Lucky. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
