She was predeceased by: her parent Charles Eugene; her spouse Robert N. Hanna, Jr.; and her daughter Janit E. Freter. She is survived by: her parent Eleanor Elizabeth Schwatka (Heil); her daughter Su Shaffer (Bill) of Littlestown, PA; her grandchildren, Dan Shaffer (Mary) of Reisterstown, Chelsea Freter of Salisbury and Bethany Hartlaub of Littlestown, PA; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Skyler, Ethan, Katelyn, Dalton, Eli and Matthew.
A committal service and burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10th at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean's name to Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster, MD, 21157 or to Carroll Christian Schools at the same address.
