He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Constance "Connie" F. Bankert (Boyd) of Silver Run; his parents, Paul E. Bankert and Mary E. Bankert (Beall); his children, Scott D. Bankert of Silver Run, Mark D. Bankert of Littlestown, Terrie Siegman of New Oxford and Kellie Macharsky of Fairfield; and his brother Richard Bankert of Westminster.
