With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Scott Sheppard (Littlestown, Pennsylvania), born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Amos and Esther Naomi Krout (Wolf); her father-in-law Robert L. Scott; her stepchildren, Paul Sheppard (Amy) and Beth Scott; her siblings, Thelma Brown, Mabel Cluck, Beatrice Krise, Jean Strausser and Lee Krout; and also, Karen Sheppard and Richard Scott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Halter and Mary Bair (Jeffrey); her grandsons, Matthew Halter and Josiah Bair; her great grandchildren, Grayson and Gage Bair; her husband David F. Sheppard; her stepson David Sheppard, Jr.; and her sister Hazel Wierman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as 6 Sheppard grandchildren, 13 Sheppard great grandchildren.
