He was predeceased by: his parent Earl M., Sr.; and his siblings, Norman Welty and Catherine Sanders. He is survived by: his parent Bessie S. Welty (Stambaugh); his children, Larry R. Welty (Linda) of Abbottstown and Susan W. Lehigh of Taneytown; his brother Ronnie E. Welty of Littlestown; and also Michael of Taneytown.
