He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Alfred Edelin, Sr. and Doris Edelin (Thomas); his sister Diane Davies; and his sister-in-law Verna Edelin. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Craig Edelin (Albina) of Spring Grove, PA, Stewart Edelin (Kathy) of Hanover, PA, Todd Edelin (Brenda) of Bel Air, MD, Scott Edelin (Jennifer) of York, PA and Danielle Alderton (Rick) of Hanover, PA; and his brother Charles Edelin of Parkville, MD. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
