He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Moniz and Blanche Moniz (Campbell); and his wife Norma Jean Moniz. He is survived by: his children, Charles Moniz (Mindy), Kathryn Bilka and David Moniz (Val); his brother Jimmy Moniz; and his son Chuck. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great- grandson.
In 1972, he settled down and built a home in Little Meadows, PA, where he happily lived until having to move into Meadowview Nursing Home in Montrose, PA due to Alzheimer's.
