She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville B. Herr and Mary Herr (Mamie Tippy); and her husband Jesse Dourte. She is survived by: her daughter Maxine (Luther Schwartz); her son-in-law Luther Schwartz; and her children, Loine (James Hain), Marjorie (Franklin Groff), Colleen (David Bradstreet), Nevin (Doneen Ruhl) and Jeseen (Troy Bauman). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
