He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dyer and Nina Dyer (Kutner); his son Billy; and his siblings, John, James Dyer and Joan (George Foley).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Lynch of Brooklyn, NY; his daughter Carol; his son-in-law Robert Frye of Lititz, PA; his son Daniel; his daughter-in-law Jill Dyer of Chapel Hill, NC.; his grandchildren, Kelly Frye Hawk, Lindsey Frye of Lancaster, Elizabeth Dyer of Ottawa and Brooks Dyer of Chapel Hill, NC; his great grandchildren, Addison and Evan Hawk of Mars, PA.; his siblings, Mary Riley of Utica, NY and Michael Dyer (Deborah) of Whitesboro, NY; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Dyer and Madeline Dyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
