He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Root (Reta MacMackin-Root) of Key West, FL and Troy Root of Queens; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Root), Jill Root of Lancaster and Gerisue Root of Key West, FL; his great grandchildren, Jordan Russell of Conestoga, PA, Madison Russell of Mountville, PA, Caleb and Ava Hutchinson of Lancaster, PA.; and also, Linda Hoover Root and Reta MacMackin-Root.
