She was predeceased by: her parents, Bard E. Kreider and Esther B. Stauffer Kreider; her husband Jacob K. Hershey; her son Dale E. Hershey; her sister Ruth Bucher; and her great grandchild Bennett Kauffman.
She is survived by: her caregiver John; her daughter Kathy Ann Hershey of Earlville, MD; her daughter-in-law Linda Hershey Fudrow (John Fudrow) of Reamstown, PA; her grandchildren, Debra (Keith Kauffman), Keith (Elizabeth Hershey), Jason (Melissa Hershey) and Corey Landis; and her sister Mildred Ziemer of New Holland. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
