He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Whitcraft and Ida Todd Whitcraft; his wife Betty I. Strauss Whitcraft; his daughters, Lyndelle "Lindy" (Terry Ober) of Elm, Brenda L. Whitcraft of Lititz, Patricia (James Polt) of Lititz and Lori (Kevin Faulkner) of Lititz; his grandsons, Shawn (Krista Ober) and Matthew Todd (Wendy Polt); and his great grandchildren, Lauryn and Jenna Ober.
