He was predeceased by: his parent Esther Stauffer; his foster parents, Ivan Martin and Maggie Martin (Auker); his stepsister Janessa Nisley; and his foster brother James Martin.
He is survived by: his spouse Alverta Martin (Stauffer); his daughters, Debra (William Keppler) of Granville Summit, Sheryl (Steve Krafft) of Akron and Wendy (Damien Turbini) of Belfast, ME; his granddaughters, Jennifer Roberts (Keppler) and Allison Keppler; his great grandchildren, Dylan and Ethan Roberts; and his foster brothers, Arthur Martin, Eugene Martin and Joe Martin.
