He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kurtz and Kathryn Kurtz (Holsinger); his children, Dennis Kurtz and Audrey Sensenig; and his brothers, Paul and John Kurtz.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice (Groff); and his children, James Kurtz of Philadelphia, Margie (Dale Wenger) of Leola, Cindy (Troy Weaver) of Lititz and Sherri (Gary Peters) of Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
