He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Joyce Hazlett and Nancy Hazlett; his wife Debra Hazlett; his sons, Dan Hazlett (Melissa Hazlett) and Stephen Hazlett (Haley Hazlett); his grandchildren, Hailey, Bryce, Ryan and Connor; and his siblings, Gigi, Jim, Bill, Mike, Elise, Lynn and Karen. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews and "Poppa Haze" to his children's best friends.
