He was predeceased by: his father Martin B. Garman; and his brother Roy D. Garman. He is survived by: his mother Anna Mae Hershey Garman of Manheim; his wife Betty M. Kaylor Garman; his son J. Douglas Garman; his close friends, Kathy Wood of Manheim and Scott R. (Sheri Garman) of Lititz; his daughter Lisa K. (Keith Rothermel) of Lititz; his grandchildren, Dan Garman (Jody), Ashlee Woolley (Andy), Bradlee Garman, Megan Fischer (Andrew) and Meredith Rothermel; and his great grandchildren, Aaron Garman, Alexandra Garman and Daxton Woolley.
