He is survived by: his spouse Karen Deppen (Burkholder); his parent Beverly Jane Dell (Shellenhamer); his children, Daphne Watts (Robert), Philip Deppen and Shawna Stark; his siblings, Kathy Deppen, Stacy Deppen and Brad Deppen (Esther) of Cullen Deppen; and his pet Tigger.
