She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Pichon and Elva Pichon (Lindley); her children, Charles R. Waldo, II and Barbara Jean Shewchuk; her brother John "Jack" Pichon; and her former husband Charles Russell Waldo.
She is survived by: her husband David Bortner; her son Robert Waldo (Kristine); her grandchildren, Kimberly Waldo, Nicholas Waldo, Brandon Waldo (Nicole), Samantha Toth (Kyle) and Michelle Fenstermacher (Bill); her great grandchildren, Annika Fenstermacher, Noah Toth and Julian Toth; and her sister Margaret DiMascio.
