He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Philomena Pepe Phillips; his sons, Raven Barton-Peters (Alayna) and Richard T. LaRocca (Kristine); his grandchildren, John P. LaRocca, Christopher M. LaRocca, Kenyon Barton-Peters and Sloane E. LaRocca; his father James Phillips; his siblings, Mark Phillips (Nancy), Timothy Phillips (Linda), Jamelyn Turano (James), Richard Straubel (Amy), Scott Straubel (Christine), Mark Straubel (Coleen), Jennifer Nasuti, Bernadette Burgess, Bruno Pepe (Patty), Peg Andrews (Don), Ruth Dudley and Phillip Pepe; his mother Ruth Davidson Phillips; and his brother Jeffrey Phillips. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
