He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Shoemaker and Mattie Shoemaker (Gingrich); and his wife Evelyn Irene Shumaker (Horst). He is survived by: his children, J. Bryon (Deborah) and Brenda (Ronald Hufford) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Jamie (Timothy Ogden) of Gettysburg, Whitney (Justin Barlup) of Lancaster, Cody (Ashley Hufford) of Lititz and Chase (Alexandra Hufford) of Lititz; and his great grandchildren, Paisley Hufford, Levi Ogden and Jude Ogden.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brethren Village Chapel (3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
