He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Showalter and Salome Showalter (Arzbacher) of Cocalico; his wife Edith E. Showalter (Pennabecker); and his son Michael S. Showalter of Ephrata. He is survived by: his daughter Debra S. Showalter.
