He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Moore, Sr. and Mary Moore (Eyrich); and his siblings, George D. Moore, Jr. and Evelyn Moore Forry. He is survived by: his wife Miriam R. (Forry); and his children, Deborah Andrews and Timothy Luther Moore. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Luther's memory may be made to his church, Salem Lutheran Church, 1331 W. Main St., Ephrata, PA, 17522.
