He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Hoober and Lydia Ann Burkholder Hoober; his wife Miriam Denlinger Hoober; his grandson Douglas W. Herr; his great grandchild Jacob W. Hershey; and his son-in-law Kenneth W. Olsen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Thelma L. (William F. Herr Jr.) of Ephrata, Nancy J. (John Hershey) of Lititz, June A. Olsen of Lititz and Susan A. (Michael Ressler) of New Holland. He is also survived by five grandsons, ten great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter.
