She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter M. Hernley and Rebecca K. Heistand Hernley; her grandson Joshua Horst; and her sisters, Naomi Greiner, Ruth Rohrer, Orpah Graybill, Reba Hershey and Jane Sheetz.
She is survived by: her husband A. Gordon Derstler; her daughters, Susan M. (Jerry Horst) of Lititz, Sharon L. (John Hess) of Manheim and Amy L. Derstler of Manheim; and her brother Peter A. (Mary Kathryn Hernley) of Manheim.
