He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon D. Hartranft, Sr. and Lucy Hartranft (McMichael); his wife Julia A. Hartranft (Dietrich); his son Michael Hartranft; and his sisters, Blanche, Alice, Beatrice and Patricia.
He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia (John Wagner); and his grandchildren, Brenda Whetsel, Mark Whetsel and Julie Gibson. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Evangelical Cemetery (105 N 11th St, Akron, PA 17501).
