She was predeceased by: her father Paul Martin. She is survived by: her mother Elsie Martin (Auker); her husband Harold M. Martin; her daughters, Sheri Y. (Michael Harmon) and Kimberly D. Martin; her sisters, Arlene Long and Mabel Miller; her nieces, Adrienne Limehouse and Amy Staley; and her sister Ruth Ann Myers.

She enjoyed quilting and crocheting; she would often make various items and donate them to charities.
