He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Garman and Annie Bruckhart Garman; and his siblings, Mary Hershey, Esther Kreider, Martin Garman and Monroe Garman.
He is survived by: his children, Donna J. (Donald A. Sherman) of Ephrata and Randal D. (Holly L. Garman) of Lititz. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
