He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Messick (Fake); his children, John Messick of Pequea and Melissa Messick (Scott Cramer) of Lancaster; his granddaughter Vivian Cramer of Lancaster; and his sister Janet Patteson (Basil) of Annville.
