He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Royer and Ella Minnich Royer; his wife Dorothy "Dolly"; his siblings, Milton and Maybell Kettering; his stepfather Alan Heagy; and his great grandchild Stuart Readinger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shirley M. (Dean C. Rust), Ellen S. (Harold "Hal" J.) and Donna J. (Doug Lunger); and his close friend Faye Rohrer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty great- grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
