He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Parker and Dorothy Parker (Shaffer); his wife Joan; his children, Kate Weiler (Jesse) and Ben Parker (Kate); his grandchildren, Molly, Deklan, Finn and Emma; his sister Pat Parker; his brother-in-law Dennis Ducsik (Sharon); and his siblings, William Parker, Catherine Perkins (Parker) and Anna Grubb (Parker). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
