He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Flawd Sr. and E. Dorothy Flawd Snyder (Shoemaker); his wife Dorothy L. Flawd (Boice); his close friend Robert Flick; and his siblings, Clyde Flawd and Esther Ulmer.
He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Weichel (late George Weichel); and also, Dyann Enck (Edwin), Patricia Baker (Jeffery Sr.), Kathleen Maldonado (Herminio Jr.) and Jo Haleryn (Jaye Haleryn). He is also survived by four children; 23 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
