She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Sommers and Bertha M. Sommers (Taylor); her husband Ura "Urie" Gingerich; her son Paul E. Gingerich; and her siblings, Maxine, Mildred, Arlene, Lucille, Elvin and Earl.
She is survived by: her sons, Duane E. Gingerich of Lititz and Merle E. Gingerich of Neffsville; her daughter-in-law Joyce E. Gingerich of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandchildren, Sherry Sheppard, Justin Gingerich, Brandon Gingerich, Joshua Gingerich, John Gingerich, Tabitha Gingerich and Matthew Gingerich; and her siblings, Owen Sommers, Merle Sommers and Lavera Helmuth. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
