He was predeceased by: his brothers, Richard, Jack and Lynwood Shaeffer. He is survived by: his wife Joan Rowe; his children, Rochelle (Brett Moore) of Naples, FL, Stephanie (Raymond Trevisan), NJ and Stephen Shaeffer; his close friend Jean Benafonte of East Stroudsburg; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Kelly, Sara, Heather, Jaymes and Jessica.
