With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George E. Vernau Jr. of Lititz, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 29, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine R. "Gerry" Stoner Vernau; and his parents, George E. Vernau and Margaret Gochenour Vernau. He is survived by: his children, G. Douglas Vernau of Lancaster, Denise (Harold Troupe) of East Petersburg and Debra (Elwood Rye) of Lancaster. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
