He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer "Bud" Pennell and Ruth Templeton-Pennell; and his sister-in-law Sandra S. Pennell. He is survived by: his wife Marianne C. Pennell; his children, David M. Pennell, Daniel M. Pennell, Cynthia L. Pennell and Cheryl L. Bolton; his brother Leon D. Pennell; and his friend Rob S. Phillips. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Hospice of York and Make A Wish Foundation.
