He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ira Longenecker and Edith Longenecker (Forney); his wife Catherine "Kitty" Eckman; his children, Cathy Stehman (Dave), Mary Kay McMichael (Jeff), Carole Manderewicz (Mike), John (Sandy) and Audrey Maisel; and his siblings, Charlotte and Marlin. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
